Blue Diablo

As many of you know, Melissa and I were discussing Blue Diablo by Ann Aguirre. I loved this book.

We're introduced to Corine Solomon. A woman who has been hiding from her past for the past few years. Not only does she have a past but a power. With the touch of her hand she can see things. She can learn a person's history by touching an object. She is a handler.
Well just when she thought she had a good job, a place to live. Her ex, Chance comes back into her life. He asks for her help on finding his mother. She agrees and the two set off to find her. Along the way she meets Jesse, a detective. Not only a detective but an empath.
Jesse says he can be her mentor but can she trust him? Can she even trust Chance? Along the way she has to deal with magic, ghosts, and zombies.
Her and Chance get help from Jesse helping and a few friends. Even someone she least expected. Will they find Chance's mom before it's too late? Or worse, before they get themselves killed?

Which guy team am I on? Honestly not sure yet. There were times I was thinking, oooh that's the man for her and than I would change my mind. At this point, I'm happy with whoever she chooses. Maybe I'll know by the end of the next book.

I can't wait to see where the next book goes. There is definitely a journey ahead for Corine and I can't wait to find out what happens.
